About NANOSAFE INC.

NANOSAFE INC. helps nanotech organizations navigate emerging environmental health and safety (EHS) issues.  We offer consulting, testing, and research and development services designed to accommodate a broad range of client needs. 

NANOSAFE INC. was founded in 2007 by Matthew Hull, and is headquartered in the Virginia Tech KnowledgeWorks Business Incubator in Blacksburg, VA.  Hull developed the five-point NANOSAFETM framework in 2005 to provide a practical strategy for managing emerging EHS risks in nanotechnology facilities.  Developed at the interface between industry, government, and academia, the NANOSAFETM program has been recognized internationally for its practical and innovative approach to nanotechnology EHS risk management.   

NANOSAFE INC. maintains an extensive network of experts in the fields of nanoscience and engineering, industrial and environmental health and safety, toxicology, and risk assessment.  We are committed to serving clients with a focus on safety, practicality, and affordability.
